UAB Department of Urology 2 year Endourology/Stone Fellowship

This is a 2-year fellowship, which focuses on kidney stone disease.  Candidates must be on track to or have successfully finished a urology residency in the United States or Canada.  Candidates who are seeking an academic career path are preferred.  Fellows will perform a high volume of complex ureteroscopic and percutaneous stone removal including access.  They will learn the intricacies of metabolic evaluation and stone prevention including participation in a multi-disciplinary clinic.  They will work in a research lab that has had steady NIH funding pertaining to the pathophysiology of kidney stone formation.
