Endourology Research Fellowship, 2015-16
Specifically designed for residents and students interested in pursuing a career in Urology or Endourology, this one year clinical and basic science research fellowship boasts exposure to a high volume advanced Endourology program, including PCNLs (150-200), endoscopic upper tract urothelial carcinoma treatment (30-40), endopyelotomies (retrograde and antegrade), and ureteroscopic surgery (300-350). The fellow will become part of a large research team and become involved in a plethora of clinical and laboratory (animal and basic science) projects. In addition, the fellow will work side by side with a clinical fellow, research coordinator, medical students, residents, nephrologists, and endocrinologists as part of a multidisciplinary team in a newly created Kidney Stone Center with ample time for advanced research in the clinic as well as the laboratory.
Applicants need not have a medical license to practice, but must have had some exposure to research and have a demonstrated interest in Urology or Endourology.
