Fellowship-trained Endourologist with Special Interest in Urolithiasis
Maine Medical Partners Urology is seeking a fellowship trained Endourologist to join the largest and most experienced team of urologists in northern New England. This candidate must possess the ability to obtain their own percutaneous access.
Candidate will join 8 Urologists and 6 Advanced Practice Professionals, including Maine’s only fellowship-trained pediatric urologists and urologic cancer specialists. Maine Medical Partners Urology provides care for the evaluation and management of a full range of adult and pediatric urologic diseases and disorders. Urologists take a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including the development of the Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Program and Kidney Stone Program.
Maine Medical Center’s comprehensive Kidney Stone Prevention Program was launched in April of 2013, and is a collaborative effort between endocrinology, urology, and adult and pediatric nephrology. Candidates will work with the Medical Director of the Kidney Stone Program in both clinical care and research.
The position involves teaching residents and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program, and an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. Maine Medical Partners Urology serves as the core faculty for the Maine Medical Center Urology Residency, the first and only program in Maine.
