One year endourology fellowship for stone and urothelial tumor surgery.

The fellowship consists on both surgery and research.

Stone management is completely covered including metabolic evaluation (in specific stone clinics) and laboratory stone analysis directed by Pr. Michel Daudon and Pr. Jean Philippe Haymann.

Stone treatment is fully covered with PCNL, SWL and mainly focused on developing the flexible ureteroscopy technique with more than 1000 procedures per year. We also concentrate on laser treatment of lower and upper urinary tract tumors and BPH (specially Holmium prostate enucleation, green light laser vaporization and bipolar resection).

We preform all kinds of clinical and laboratory studies for both stone and upper tract tumor management including in-vitro research (with a fully equipped arsenal with all kinds of lasers, ureteroscopes and endourological material), diverse trials for new equipment in endourology, tests in cadaveric models and studies in the university’s engineering laboratory for laser energetics with the collaboration of their complete staff.

Please be aware that the department cannot provide a salary and that you should ensure your own funding.
