Loyola University Medical Center Endourology Fellowship

Overview:
This is an intensive one year fellowship covering all facets of Endourology. The fellowship involves comprehensive training in all aspects of minimally invasive urology. The fellow is integrally involved in the operating room with all robotic, laparoscopic, percutaneous, ureteroscopic and ESWL procedures. The fellow is expected to supervise and educate residents in the operating room. The fellow has the opportunity to participate in surgical cases at three different hospital settings: our academic hospital (LUMC), the VA (Hines VA) and a private hospital (Gottlieb Memorial) where many of robotic faculty operative with the da Vinci Xi surgical system. There are also research opportunities available to the fellow including many established clinical research databases. There is an expectation to produce two clinical manuscript during the fellowship year.
Applicants must be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license and must have completed a urologic residency.
