Participation in a society committee is a valuable opportunity for members to enhance their leadership skills, engage with the community, and help guide the society's progress. The Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, and committee members collaborate to organize various educational activities and initiatives for the Endourology Society. These include website and social media development, fellowship program evaluation, awards selection, podcast and webcast production, the WCET Conference, and many more.
Committee Application Process
If you want to be considered for one of our committees (listed below), please download and complete the application. Available Committee positions are listed to the right. In 250 words or less, explain why you are interested in a particular Endourological Society committee and what experience you have, that makes you well-suited to participate in this important service role. In addition to the completed application, please include your curriculum vitae for review. Applications are due by June 2nd, 2025, and should be sent to Michele Paoli at
Awards Committee
The Awards Committee selects recipients of the Karl Storz Lifetime Achievement Award, the "Arthur Award," and the Ralph Clayman "Mentor Award" approximately three to six months before the WCET meeting.
* The awards committee chair is expected to present a 3 minute overview of the meaning of the award and why the person receiving the award has been selected by the committee. The awardee should know that they have 4-5 minutes to acknowledge their former mentors and to provide the audience with perhaps some words of wisdom with regard to their career, their highlights, etc.
