Lee Sullivan is a global medical device marketing executive with more than 30 years of sales and marketing leadership experience within Boston Scientific Corporation’s Urology business unit. Her engagement with the Endourological Society spans many years, including participation in more than 25 World Congress of Endourology and Technology (WCET) meetings.
Lee demonstrates her commitment to urology by driving innovation and expanding the availability of products and disease therapies into new global markets. In her current role as senior director of market development at Boston Scientific, Lee engages with key stakeholders to understand unmet needs and potential solutions to support kidney stone removal, prostate health, erectile restoration and urinary continence.
Lee has served in many leadership roles at Boston Scientific, including vice president of U.S. sales, vice president of global marketing and director of international markets, Europe. She and her teams have been critical to the launch of groundbreaking therapies to enhance patient care.
Lee has been a passionate advocate for women and underrepresented populations in urology throughout her career. Recognizing the importance of a diverse work force to improve patients’ access to care, Lee has created and supported many initiatives designed to bring awareness and change the demographics of the urology workforce. At Boston Scientific, Lee and her team work with societies to amplify the voices of women in urology. In collaboration with the Endourological Society, Lee helped to establish Women in Stone, arranging multiple programs that connect women health care providers who specialize in stone disease. Since its inauguration more than 10 years ago, the number of women participating in the Women in Stone program has doubled. Most recently, the Boston Scientific grant committee approved an Endourological Society fellowship program for women and underrepresented minorities, currently in its inaugural year.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Georgia. In her free time, Lee enjoys taking fitness classes at Pure Barre – where she has completed more than 1,500 classes – and gaining new cultural experiences through meeting new people while travelling around the world.
